Carlos Santos 9899 Handgrade Oxford In Black Calf
The Perfect Oxford Is Finally Here!
If there is one shoe every man should have, that is a Black Cap-Toe Oxford. This is a shoe that will never go out of style and will be always considered the most formal shoe a man can wear. Whether for pure business, graduation, honoring your loved ones or simply because you want to be the best looking man in the room, you should never cut corners when it comes to a Black Oxford.
And this is exactly what we have done here today. The Noble Shoe can proudly introduce to you the successor the the previous discontinued Black Oxford: The 9899 Handgrade Oxford in Black Calf on a new exciting last and reverse clean stitching.
What makes this model unique? First of all, this is an exclusive model Carlos Santos will make for just The Noble Shoe. It is part of the 2020 newly released collection and the New 445 Last. It is also part of the Premium Handgrade Collection which offers you better quality yet lower price point than Brands like Carmina or Crockett & Jones. Less money, more features, exquisite quality and value. And the most striking looking Black Oxford on the market. This is a purchase you will never regret.
Additionally, the stitching on the uppers is reversed, which means you see a line instead of the stitches. This creates the classic Cap-Toe Oxford but with such clean lines it becomes the ultimate formal shoe.
As for the last itself, the 445 is New and fits very similar to the 401. It has slightly more curvature around the wider part of the forefoot creating an extremely attractive shape as you can see in the pictures. You should always choose the same size as your regular 401 Carlos Santos Shoes.
The Sole is an absolute work of art. Very rarely will you come across such high quality finish for this kind of price range. The sole is also hand painted with a unique Patina.
Please note that the Metal Toe Tip is available separately Here.
The Handgrade Collection is the holy grail of value and quality. It is phenomenal and I have witnessed the construction of a shoe from start to finish in the Carlos Santos Factory. More pictures to follow soon!

About the 445 Last: A New sleek last with a rounder shaped toe and regular width. Fits true to size and similar to the 401. Slightly elongated toe and advice is to size down 1.5 full size from your regular US size, or select your half a size from normal Carmina Rain/Meermin Hiro/Crockett & Jones 348.
These oxford shoes are a work of art. Very sleek and look as good as the pictures suggest; no photoshop. Good customer service from Kostas with a personal touch. Fast delivery as well. A great experience altogether. 5/5.
PS- these Carlos Santos shoes are a tad roomier than Carminas, TLB, and Meermin. If you have a high instep like me, just stick to your normal UK size. Otherwise, you may need to size a half size down from your normal UK size.
Received very quickly and pleased with customer support from Kostas. Shoes are exactly what I wanted…may take some time to be break in but that is expected.
Will be ordering next pair of Brown oxfords here :)
Kostas provided great customer service answering all my question to make me comfortable with my purchases. Shoe are excellent quality as well.
Excellent shoe. Great service.
I love my sneakers both of them. It was a seamless transaction that I couldn't believe that the Noble Shoe is in Europe ,it took 3 days for my sneakers to me in US. Thanks Kostas!
