Good quality leather

This is not my first purchase from “The Noble Shoe”. Quality of craftsmanship of Carlos Santos brand and service from Kostas is winning combinations! I’m looking forward to wear the pair of Kudu leather boots in cold and rainy time of the year.

Kudu boots

I love the boots. Also bought a pair for my son at the same time for a Xmas gift. He feels the same way. As always first class product and first class service. My 4th pair of boots from Kostas. Thank you.

Great Boots with a Quality Control Flaw

I bought these boots without the shearling lining about one year ago. They are comfortable, stylish, and do well in wet conditions. Kostas was spot-on with his sizing advice (Brannock 8.0 D and Allen Edmonds 8.0 D, bought a UK 6.5). Customer service throughout the whole process was excellent.

There was only one disappointing aspect, namely, the tongue on one of the boots was stitched in such a way that it shifts to one side. Apparently a cobbler can easily fix this, but in my opinion, a $350 pair of boots shouldn’t arrive in a customer’s possession with this kind of flaw. It doesn’t prevent me from wearing or enjoying them, but it is disappointing nonetheless.

Overall, I would 100% buy from the Noble Shoe again but would hesitate to buy a Carlos Santos product again.

Carlos Santos 1051 Kudu boots with lining

Excellent boots! Great service! Kostas responded to questions very quickly and was helpful with sizing and general advice. I have always browsed his website and this is my first purchase and I know I will buy again. Very interested to see what other unique GMTO Kostas comes up with.

Very nice and a little different

The lightweight and soft commando sole and orange brown welt colour make these stand out. The boots are very comfortable on my feet (yours may be different) apart from one issue. On one of the boots there is a ridge in the merino wool that has managed to rub a hole in the bottom of a thick pair of socks and has given me a small blister near the heel. At first I thought it was just a nail that hadn't been flattened properly but it is not that. Regardless, I'm sure I'll flatten it out with a few more wears.
Other than that the boots are a great fit and have a distinctive look that is different from anything else I own. The Kudu leather is soft and very comfortable and the commando sole is made from a soft gum rather than the harder rubber compounds used in other soles, which provides plenty of cushioning.
In addition the service was first class and these were delivered in the UK less than 24 hrs after shipping from Stockholm.
